INTRCITY SMARTBUS: EXPANDING IN WEST INDIA

India’s favourite inter-city mobility platform is buzzing with excitement with its recent expansion into West India, focusing on the lively cities of Mumbai and Pune.  With a fantastic 60% surge in demand earlier this summer holiday season compared to last year, the West region, which includes Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa, is leading the charge with an astounding average occupancy rate of 98%!

To keep up with this growing enthusiasm, the company is set to triple its fleet size this year, bringing even more options for seamless travel in these dynamic areas. They’re adding 100 washroom-equipped buses to enhance convenience and comfort for all travellers.

Recently, the company has also launched exclusive boarding lounges in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Indore,  and more lounges are on the way in the next quarter.

Dharmesh Kumar, Regional Head (West) at IntrCity SmartBus, shared his excitement: “We’re thrilled by the tremendous demand in the vibrant West region! Our mission to offer safe, comfortable, and reliable travel options remains strong. Expanding our presence in Mumbai and Pune is a strategic move to meet our customers’ evolving needs and ensure smooth connectivity across West India.”

Their service features a fleet of luxury buses loaded with amenities designed for a fabulous travel experience. Enjoy built-in washrooms, sleeper berths with ample legroom and spacious seating to kick back and relax. Plus, with real-time GPS tracking, travellers can count on punctual and safe journeys.

And that’s not all! They’ve introduced a snazzy new Digital Luggage Tag feature to keep passengers’ belongings safe and sound. This innovative system helps reduce the chances of lost or mishandled luggage.

As India’s top intercity mobility platform, IntrCity SmartBus is dedicated to offering both train and bus services to budget travellers, ensuring safe, trusted, and standardized travel options across the country’s long-distance routes.
