The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has unveiled the first edition of Abu Dhabi Music Week, a pioneering platform for music fans and professionals set to launch in March 2020 in the UAE Capital.
The first edition of the Music Week will focus on electronic dance music, featuring global electronic music festival Ultra. Abu Dhabi Music Week is a lively celebration of music that is set to be the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The festival will also include the first Middle East edition of the DJ Mag conference, a landmark music industry event organised by British electronic music publication, DJ Mag. The conference, which is amongst the first of its kind in the region, will run for two days in March, featuring ground-breaking music industry talks, workshops hosted by top electronic music industry experts, artist sessions and talent matching and booking programmes.
The Middle East’s Ultimate Beach and Music Festival, Club Social, will also be a part of it all and will take place over a course of three days from March 12 to 14, and will feature two international megastar headline artists followed by ‘Battle of the Bands’, which showcases talents of the UAE’s best rising stars.
