Kids who happen to visit Lisbon are in for some fun as stories of dragons and maidens, adventures between unicorns, clowns and soldiers come live in a unique way at a marine park where they don’t have to get into the sea at all. The young visitors discover their favourite animals and have the chance to become a superhero who will protect them. At the Lisbon Oceanarium, the carnival is on for three days from February 23 to 26.
The “Holidays underwater” program is aimed at participants aged 4 to 12 years. Participants are welcomed in the rooms of the Lisbon Oceanário Education Program, which includes four areas for activities, a dining room and a meal preparation room. The program explores the ocean, the species that inhabit it, the adaptations that make them special and the threats they face. The activity is repeated during the three days of school break from Carnival.
